How We Use Your Data
Delivering Coaching Services
Your name, contact details and submitted video/telemetry data are used exclusively to deliver the coaching service you purchased — onboard video analysis, programme feedback, or telemetry review. Your footage is reviewed personally by Alessio Lorandi and is never shared with third parties.
Email Communications
With your consent, we use your name and email address to send coaching tips, new content, and relevant programme updates via Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in the footer of every message.
Platform Improvement
Anonymised usage data helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and user experience. This data cannot identify you individually.
Legal Obligations
We may process your data where required by law — for example, to maintain financial records for tax purposes or to respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
We never sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Processing Activity | Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Delivering a purchased coaching service | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Sending marketing emails to subscribers | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Processing onboard video for coaching | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Maintaining financial/transaction records | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Website analytics (anonymised) | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Onboard Video and Telemetry Data
When you purchase an onboard video analysis or submit telemetry files as part of a coaching programme, the following applies:
- Storage: Video files are stored securely in a private cloud environment (Google Drive or equivalent). They are not publicly accessible.
- Access: Only Alessio Lorandi accesses your footage for the purpose of producing your coaching review. No assistants, contractors or third parties view your video without your explicit consent.
- Minors: If the driver is under 18, video footage is submitted and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. We take extra care with footage involving minors and never use it in any marketing or public content without separate written consent.
- Retention: Video files are retained for the duration of your active programme plus 90 days, then permanently deleted unless you request an extension.
- No commercial use: Your footage will never be used in marketing materials, social media, YouTube content or any public-facing channel without your explicit written consent.
Email Marketing
If you sign up to receive coaching content, free resources (such as our apex cheat sheet), or programme updates, your name and email address are stored in Mailchimp and used to send you relevant content.
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Unsubscribing removes you from all marketing communications immediately.
- Unsubscribing does not affect any active coaching service you have purchased.
- We use tags to segment our list (e.g. which lead magnet you downloaded) so we can send relevant content. This profiling is based on your own actions and is used only to improve relevance, never to make automated decisions about you.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform. Each is bound by its own privacy policy and, where required, a Data Processing Agreement with us.
